The whole carbon offsets scam shouldn't even need to be argued. It's nothing more than a well laid business plan that in the end is a complete fraud.

...what amazes me though, is that so many people have fallen for this scam.
What is it? Is it laziness? Are people just too lazy to go out and research? I wish I knew.

The Financial Times. It's a quick read. It's maddening that an investigation had to be done for such a blatantly obvious scam.

Basically the Al Gore scam machine is estimated to be worth more than $68 billion by the year 2010. They've managed to guilt trip companies and individuals into thinking that they/you are responsible for global waming. They've succeeded in brainwashing the general public and companies out of billions, and it looks as though they will continue to be successful with this scam... until people stop being suckers and tell Al Gore and the rest of the god-complex driven greenbats to take a hike.
