One of our reader's, "eternaloptimist", e-mailed me this great response to the Evan Sayet Talk-
Some people just "get it" and others never will.:
I think what I got from that was the fact that because Liberals have promoted in-discriminatory thinking, they gained their following by giving people false hope of world peace and a Utopian way of life.
I think people like to latch on to something that makes them feel safe, when in reality it is anything but safe. There has been good and evil since the beginning, and wars and conflicts since the beginning (of time). What people fail to recognize, and many have never been taught, is that is the very reason for our existence (The triumph of good over evil).
Liberal "leaders" are not leaders at all. A true leader has to possess an unfailing ability to rise to the occasion, and though fear inevitably exists by human nature, a true leader presses forward.
The reason Liberals created the anti-discriminatory platform, is because they are afraid. They are afraid of criticism, success, failure, lack of popularity, and pretty much everything in general, AND "Misery Loves Company".
I think in the early going Liberal ideas were a result of evil doing. Now it is still evil doing, however, it is also generations of learned behavior, regardless of whether or not there is a complete understanding of what it is about (blind leading the blind).
