...and if it isn't inbreeding, then how do you explain the stupidity of someone who is willing to vote socialists into office in the USA? Government is there to represent us, not to dictate to us how we serve others!
Giving should be quiet and unassuming, but put it in the hands of a liberal attention whore and it becomes a self love collective orgasm of feel good socialist ideologies that have never worked and never will. Obama has been coming up with mathematical calculations that can only be realized by one who has been smoking the liberal crack pipe. His version of socialist health care would- according to him- save consumers $2500 per year and bring health care to all... my a$$. Where I work we are offered insurance at a very reasonable rate. Yet, more than half the people working there choose NOT to carry health insurance. So I have to wonder- do they count those who choose not to carry insurance in their polls? Of course not. This reminds me of a few people I've known over the years. The following stories are not an all inclusive list of the people I've seen this with; just a few that stand out in my mind. Years ago I was a cook. At the restaurant where I worked there was a homeless guy who used to clean up the trash around the property for a meal. He seemed satisfied with simply picking up trash and getting his plate of pancakes and eggs. The manager tried for months to get this guy to come to work as a dishwasher. He finally took the job. You'll never guess what he did with his first paycheck. Did he save it, hoping that he'd soon have enough to get an apartment? NO. Well, did he go drink it all away? Nope. Maybe he used it to support the drug habit that eventually landed him in the streets... nope. Not it at all. He used his first paycheck to by a *&$%ing VCR! Do I want someone with a complete lack of priorities like that idiot to benefit from a forced social program created by some liberal who just wants to feel good about themselves? Hell no! Welfare can't fix stupid. I also know someone who one day decided he no longer wanted to work... that was 14 years ago. He sent his wife off dancing while he sat at home and became an alcoholic. I remember being with him once where he was offered a job that paid $14/hr... he turned it down. He told me, "I like spending money too much to work for a lousy $14 an hour". Aallrighty then! Welfare can't fix drunk and lazy. I also worked with a guy who had been out of work for months. Similar to the first story, except this guy lives in an aprtment... with his wife... and kids. He used his first paycheck to buy a big bag of pot and a $900 stereo for his car! He then proceeded to ask everyone at work for money, complaining about being short on rent and gas money. Welfare supplements the completely irresponsible. Yeah, yeah, I know. I'll be labeled cruel, stingy, selfish... whatever. Doesn't matter. Like I said at the beginning of this post- giving is an individual choice. I'll choose who I help and how I help them. In the end, if it wasn't sufficient, then God will surely let me know. The reality of it is that the government- not Republican and (ESPECIALLY) not Democrat, or any other wanna' be party in between- are very good at very many things. Bigger government is always a failure. Always. Giving the government more money, to give more handouts, to create even more dependency on that already bloated government is insane. Y'know, there's all this talk from libs about Bush being dumb... but from what I can see, there are an awful lot of suckers swallowing the liberal lies like a baby bird glurping and burping as mother pukes the contents of her stomach right down their throats. Talk about dumb. If you buy into this socialist nonsense- you are an absolute idiot. If they ever get their socialized health care, then only a little bit of time will have to go by to show you just what an idiot you were for making it possible by voting socialists into office. I guarantee it.
