"...the climate crisis is not a political issue it is a moral and spiritual challenge to all of humanity." --AlGore

< p>No Al, YOU are a moral and spiritual challenge to all of humanity.

Socialism is a moral and spiritual challenge to all of humanity.

Communism is a moral and spiritual challenge to all of humanity.

Abortion is a moral and spiritual challenge to all of humanity.

The lie of evolution is a moral and spiritual challenge to all of humanity.

Terrorism is a moral and spiritual challenge to all of humanity.

The modern Democrat party is a moral and spiritual challenge to all of humanity.

The pussification of America by way of government nannying and the convincing of the American people that they are incapable of determining the direction of their own lives is a moral and spiritual challenge to all of humanity.

The lie of man made global warming is an assault on the intelligence of those who don't swallow that lie. That lie, Al, is not a mere moral and spritual challenge. That lie that's made you very rich, Al, is a direct assualt on morality and spirituality itself.

Those of you who believe the lies, deceit, hypocrisy and utter lunacy of people like Al Gore need to step back and take a long hard look at just what kind of power you're handing over to him and others like him. It's all about control. In regards to global warming it's about controlling every aspect of your life. From wiping your ass to what light bulbs you use, to the car you drive... you name it. The madness has reached mind numbing highs.

This reminds me of a conversation with a loved one. He believes (read, is indoctrinated into thinking) that the Christian right fully rejects science. The conversation was originally about evolution, which I'm going to post about soon. But I think that my replies back can be used in the discussion of man-made global warming too. Mainly because they all have the same tired old talking points for everything. In the end, their god is "science" and their "faith" is in the mere mortals behind that science. Here's a little bit from that long exchange:

You mentioned that Christian's reject science. Nope, that's not true. That's just another liberal myth. I believe that science has helped us to greatly expand our knowledge about God's great creation.

He then went on to tell me that we "pick and choose" what science we believe, and "that's not right". How "the scientific consensus is not to be challenged lightly".

They love using "scientific consensus" as if it's the ultimate power move.

... the scientific community- much like Washington, the public school systems and a majority of college campuses around the country- is full of elitists who can and do collectively shut out opposition when it "doesn't jive". To deny that is to admit a serious lack of intellectual integrity.

Throwing around the term "scientific consensus" sounds real powerful and authoritative to those who might confuse that with conclusion, but it's not enough of a statement to make me suddenly say "oh, I was wrong".
Gee, there's scientific consensus that the theory of [insert whatever theory presented as fact here] is still, well, just a theory.

... don't tell me it's wrong for me to reject something that's theoretical and inconclusive. Ambiguous terms like "scientific consensus" are thrown around to get people to accept something as conclusive when it's not... and that's wrong.

He then went on to tell me that we are left with scientific opinions for all the answers. Otherwise, "we'd have to assume that the world is flat". Hmmm, okay. Pretty laughable, but whatever.

And pictures from space. Don't forget that one. :)
We have to depend on science for solutions to a certain extent... but in the end people are only people; even scientists. With that come the facts of human error, human nature, human wants and needs, human deception, misconduct, both individual and organizational agendas, self interests, political interests, lobbyists and more. All this can and does exist the scientific community. You can deny it all you want, but the scientific community, again- much like Washington- does have its fair share of agenda driven arrogance and elitism.
Am I saying that I completely disregard the scientific community by default? No. Not at all. I just meet it with a fair amount of skepticism.

***On a side note, while we're on the subject of "expert opinion", do yourself a favor and read the quotes compiled in this post on Free Conservatives . Scroll down to post #47.***

That's all I'll share from that exchange. I just wanted to share a little of it with you.

What's really amazing about all this talk of science is that Al is not a scientist! He, like so many other left nuts, is a fact manipulating alarmist making a lot of money by shoving FUD down the throats of the scared, guilt-ridden gullible out there. It's incredible what a politician/entrepreneur can lead people to believe. I still have faith that the majority of America is still intelligent and strong enough to withstand this constant barrage of insanity.

You have to be. We have to be. Put on your thick skin, dig in to your cerebral depths and use that wonderful mind God has given you!

The libs failed at the synaptic crossroads. You know, that important one where the connection must be established in order to comprehend honor, virtue, truth, good and evil, morals... basically all that is good. When faced with the challenge of intelligent connection, they failed to make that all important jump across the synapse and into the next receptor to complete that simple, yet important connection. Instead, the libs made a half-hearted attempt at that jump and fell shamefully short. That fall landed them at the corner of Crazy and Utterly Insane.

BzzzzzT! Feel that? Yeah baby! Neurotransmission feels great! Embrace your intelligence. It's God's gift to you. It's your defense against those suffering from a lack of it. Especially those like Al Gore and the rest of the left nut parade.
