He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future. -Adolf Hitler
A friend on Facebook stated that she didn't understand why people were "afraid" to send their kids to school to see Obama speak and that we should respect the office of the presidency. Of course, she received...

Way to rally behind the troops Hillary. Way to show solidarity. Various news sites are quoting her as saying: "I don't know that the American people or the Congress at this point believe this mission can work. And in the absence of a commitment that is backed up by actions from the Iraqi government, why should we believe it?". "this is my third trip to Iraq. I've seen the violence and security problems increase, not decrease. The first time I was in Iraq, we were not asked to wear body armor and put on helmets. We were not shepherded very narrowly from place to place". That's right Hillary- in reference to your first statement; you don't know. If you did, you'd know that I have faith in our troops. I still support them, and that also means supporting their mission. As far as your second statement goes... it's a war stupid! The fact that there is a need for a change in plans. The fact that more troops are going over there should have been a pretty good indication that you're going to a dangerous place where you might need some protection. Bush made it pretty clear that it's not all rainbows and roses. Of course it's more dangerous than last time. Otherwise there wouldn't have been a need for a new direction. Hey, she's your elected official.
